Installing this new OS on VMware vSphere 8 is easy, create a new VM, choose Windows 2022 OS and here you go
VMware Tools ( version:12389 ) installed without any issue so far.
2022 Active Directory domain integration, no problem.
Installing the Citrix Virtual Desktop Agent require still 2 reboots, some things will never change.
But surprise during the last reboot
To avoir this Green Screen of Death loop you need to initiate the VDA installation with this commande line :
"X:\x64\XenDesktop Setup\XenDesktopVdaSetupe.exe /servervdi"This installs a single-session OS VDA on a supported Windows server.
At least you can access a Windows 2025 server through HDX until Citrix gives a version that support the multi session on Windows 2025.
Don't forget to create a mono session Machine Catalogue to make it available !
