Firstly, I’m really happy to post on Stephane’s blog.
I want to share with you my last adventure with XenApp 7.15 and Windows 2016.
At my customer’s place , we have installed all components of XenApp 7.15 site on Windows 2016 French language.
All components were installed without any issues, excepted Session Recording Agent.
When installing Session Recording Agent, I got the following errors on event viewer when the Agent service want to start:
Event 1007 : Citrix Session Recording Agent:
SmAudAgent.TheService.SetCOMSecurity()
SmAudAgent.TheService.OnStart(String[]args)
and
Event 1006 : Citrix Sessoin Recording Agent : Service crash with fatal error
After few investigation, the have found the root cause …..
Windows 2016 French Version…
To solve this issue, We had to reinstall the server with Windows 2016 English-US and install the language Pack fr-fr
And now the Citrix Session Recorder if installed properly and working as expected.
