This is a simple "how to" install Apple Mac OS Snow Leopard on a netbook Asus EEEPc 1000HE What you need: EEEPC 1000HE A working Mac with SnowLeopard installed An external harddrive or USB key A Snow Leopard install DVD : only 29$ http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC223?mco=MTAyNTQwMjU Downloads: Kexts from rcfa at http://www.zshare.net/download/66089613f77ee41a/ NetbookInstaller at http://code.google.com/p/netbook-installer/downloads/list SuperDuper disk cloner at http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html Simple steps: Format the USB drive with GUID format (e.g. with DiskUtility) Install SnowLeopard on external USB drive using the working laptop Boot from external USB drive, perform all upgrades, e.g. to 10.6.1, software installs (XCode etc). You could do this on the EEEPC, too, but most likely it's much faster on your SnowLeopard machine. Download and install SuperDuper.app on the external disk Boot from external USB drive, start NetbookInstaller and set up basic extensions and Bluetooth with the target volume being the EXTERNAL disk (if you pick the wrong disk you regular mac will stop working) Install kexts: Install these with kext Helper (to /System/Library/Extensions, not /Extra) and copy dsdt.aml, dsdt.dsl, smbios.plist, com.apple.Boot.plist to /Extra. Now, plug the USB drive into your EEEPC and boot from the external drive. You should have a working Hackintosh (albeit a bit slow). Format the internal disk in GUID format, I made 2 partitions 80Gb each and GUID the second one. Clone the external disk to the internal one using SuperDuper.app. This will take a loooong time. Start NetbookInstaller.app again and perform the same installs as above but now on the INTERNAL disk of your EEEPC. Reboot ... I found this how to on Small Computing, Ijust made some change to adapt it and I've tested it with success

I had a new toy and I'm typing this news with it, this is my new Asus eeepc 1000 he. This is really cool, very small and quite powerfull, I have choose to deploy Windows 7 on it and I'm very surprise it works perfectly. This is very very cool with Citrix Receiver I can connect from everywhere at work, when I'm in the train, at a customer office etc etc. So just to say this new toy took me some time and now I'm late on eveything :) The XenDesktop installation and setup with PVS is almost complete, I just have to type some word and upload the video, it's very simple and will allow you to setup you own XenDesktop. I have also setup a XenServer 5.5 beta 1 and a Merchandising Server, I would have like to setup a Dazzle server but the beta is not available yet... Everything should popup very soon in here so stay tune !
